Insulation

Posted by Bajali

Insulation of home is the process of insulating the home from various harmful radiations in and out of our house. They help in keeping the hotter place hot and the cooler place cool. Earlier people used polished wooden surfaces for insulation as the technology advanced; these wooden pieces were effectively replaced by Foil Insulation. These Foil Insulation are the highly potential material to retain the temperature of those material which it contain. Thus most of these thin Foil Insulation are even used in packing hot food stuffs to retain their temperature. Those region having more temperature can make use of these Foil Insulation while installing a centralized air conditioning system for that place. These Foil Insulation are wrapped around those path where cold air were taken to the air conditioning unit. The purpose of using them in air conditioning system is to protect these cooling paths from getting heated up by the surrounding. Thus Foil Insulation are the most effective and efficient thermo insulators.

Self - control

Posted by Bajali

The self-control of motivation is increasingly understood as a subset of emotional intelligence; a person may be highly intelligent according to a more conservative definition (as measured by many intelligence tests), yet unmotivated to dedicate this intelligence to certain tasks. Yale School of Management professor Victor Vroom's "expectancy theory" provides an account of when people will decide whether to exert self control to pursue a particular goal. Drives and desires can be described as a deficiency or need that activates behaviour that is aimed at a goal or an incentive. These are thought to originate within the individual and may not require external stimuli to encourage the behaviour. Basic drives could be sparked by deficiencies such as hunger, which motivates a person to seek food; whereas more subtle drives might be the desire for praise and approval, which motivates a person to behave in a manner pleasing to others. By contrast, the role of extrinsic rewards and stimuli can be seen in the example of training animals by giving them treats when they perform a trick correctly. The treat motivates the animals to perform the trick consistently, even later when the treat is removed from the process.

Things we do while listening

Posted by Bajali

Thing we do when we listen… and not listen:

When we listen:
• Our eyes make a good contact with the spokesperson.
• We absorb at least 300 words per minute.
• We start visualizing those things which we hear.
• If the speech is too good and inspiring, we’ll present some good face expression.
• The most astonishing fact while we listen is…. Our head will be tilted in certain angle from the neck, which is the only body gesture implying our keen interest over the topic.
When we don’t listen:
• When we don’t listen, we start yarning.
• We feel bored.
• Ultimate drowsiness.
• Temporary impairment.
• You feel like drinking more water.
• Your blood pressure would increase.
• You may get heart attack too…!!!
So people don’t try to listen anything when you are not in good mood.

Concept of meditation

Posted by Bajali

The word “meditation” is used to describe a number of different uses of the mind, from contemplation and concentration to devotion and chanting. It may probably be derived from the same root as the Latin word “mederi “meaning “to heat “. Meditation can certainly be looked on as a healing process, emotionally, mentally and physically too.
The meditative state is the highest state of existence. It is indispensable for the spiritual life as breathing for the physical. Devoid of meditation, one is like a blind man in a world of light, colour and loveliness.
Meditation is referred as:
• A training of consciousness and the exercise for awareness
• A mental process in which thinking and intuitive perceptions takes place
• A process of re- discovering, enjoying, and using the positive qualities already latent within us
• A method of self realization
• A systematic method of recollection, contemplation and concentration
• A systematic practice of mastering one ‘s own mind
• A practice tat awakens the latent faculties of mind
• A practice that will directs the mind towards a positive direction.
• A practice that enables one to go beyond the five senses and to experience clairvoyance and clairaudience

Work Fun!

Posted by Bajali

So how do you go about making work fun?Like many things in life, making work fun is work. Here are 12 steps that will make it easier.

1. Start with yourself. A rule that successful leaders follow is: the only thing you can change is yourself. Are you having fun? If not, why not? If you’re not having fun, who else will?
2. Inspire fun in others. Encourage others to engage in fun-loving activities; lead by example. Don’t appoint someone to be in charge of making your workplace fun. You become the catalyst. Do something that will be fun. And take some risks; don’t be afraid to look silly. It’s only fun.
3. Create and environment that encourages fun. Music, bright colors and toys to relieve stress are three easy ways to mold a fun-loving environment. Create surprise by changing things around regularly.
4. Celebrate the benefits of fun. Every successful cause has a champion. Become fun-atical about recognizing fun when you see it. If you reward fun, it will reward you.
5. Make it your goal to find and remove those things and those people that inhibit the free flow of fun. Fun unfettered is contagious and helps you grow.
6. Look for the humor in your situation. Be the person who can laugh when things look bleak. Your greatest source of comic inspiration is often yourself.
7. Follow your intuition—be spontaneous. Don’t wait for fun to find you or for the perfect moment; make fun happen when you need it.
8. Don’t postpone your fun. Fun isn’t a reward; it’s the lubricant that gets things done easily and effectively. Make fun a regular part of your daily routine.
9. Make fun inclusive. The first rule of fun has always been “The more the merrier.” Fun isn’t a private club; fun is for sharing.
10. Smile. And laugh. A lot. When you say “Hi” with a smile, you’ll find people smile back. It takes no special skill and costs nothing. All it takes is a decision. Yours.
11. Become known as “fun-loving.” Make it your personal mission to infuse fun into everything you do and you’ll be paid the ultimate compliment: everyone will want to be on your team.
12. Put fun into action. A journey of 1,000 miles starts with a smile, followed by a laugh, and pretty soon you’re having fun.
